Dr Jujhar Singh, Vice-Principal of Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Bio-Technology has been honoured with "Best Educationist award" for outstanding achievements and remarkable role in the field of education. This award was given by International Institute of Education and Management in the presence of Shri Joginder Singh, Former C.B.I. Director, Dr. G.V.G. Krishnamurthi, former Election Commissioner, Dr Bishma Narain Singh, Former Chief Justice, in the month of April 2014 at Delhi.
Dr Jujhar Singh is working with Rayat and Bahra Group since the inception of Group i.e. 2001, since then he has been scaling heights and basking in the glory of triumph. He did his B.Tech. from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana and M.E. & P.hd. from PEC University of Technology chandigarh. He started his teaching career as a lecturer but since then there has been no looking back. He shoulders the responsibility of many administrative posts. He is the Vice Principal of R.B.I.E.B.T, chairman estate, head of electronic data processing department, controller of exams; convener of discipline committee of the institute and the chief coordinator of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre .He has to his credit 7 international Journal publications, 4 international conference publications, 4 national publications.
His innovative mind has been the source of inspiration for his colleagues and students. Under his able guidance the students of Rayat and Bahra have come up with international achievements by participating at USA competitions such as Super mileage car-2008, Formula car-2009, moonbuggy-2012, Baja race 2014 and have brought laurels to our nation by scoring 1st positions in Asia.
Recently, he has also been selected to receive an international award, "Asia Pacific Achievers Award" which will be presented to him in Asia Pacific Achievers Summit to be held at Tashkent, Russia on 15th June 2014.
